US Visa Slot Monitor (browser extension) & usvisaslotsupdate.com  ·  Last updated: 2 September 2026

This policy explains what data the US Visa Slot Monitor browser extension and its companion website (usvisaslotsupdate.com) collect, why, and how it is handled. The service is operated by the team that runs this deployment; contact details are at the end.

In short: the extension reads the visa appointment page you already have open, takes a cropped screenshot of the calendar when availability changes, and sends it plus a short text summary to our own backend so your team can see openings on a shared dashboard and Telegram channel. It never signs in, clicks, navigates, or automates the visa portal. Names visible in a screenshot are blurred inside your browser before the image is sent.

1. What the extension collects

2. What it does not do

3. How the data is used

Solely to operate the service: detecting a change in appointment availability and delivering the screenshot and summary to your team's dashboard (usvisaslotsupdate.com/#/admin) and, if enabled, your team's Telegram channel. Reports are attributed to the account that captured them so your team knows who is watching which consulate.

4. Where it is stored and who can see it

5. Retention

Change events and screenshots are kept until an administrator deletes them from the dashboard. Your account exists until an administrator removes it. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using the contact details below.

6. Your choices

7. Children

The service is intended for adults arranging visa appointments and is not directed at children under 13.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will change and team administrators will be notified.
